love-the-burn-blog-intro-banner

Hi There!

“Feel the Burn, Love the Burn” is a phrase I am obsessed with while training. Exercise is a lifestyle, get used to it now. You will be doing it the rest of your life. If my 81 year old Grandmother can still ride a stationary bike for one whole hour each day, you can stick to a 30 minute exercise program that WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE

As a trainer I have helped women of all ages reach their weight loss goals. It all begins with a single step that you must take. Make that step today. Make the commitment to a healthier you. I cannot help you if you don’t make a solid commintment to helping yourself first. After exercising for a week or two your body will feel the NEED TO EXERCISE & so will your mind set as you build a solid routine. It only takes 21 days to build a new habit! Work hard to reach your goals & you will! It won’t be easy but together WE CAN DO IT!!

Remember if your not feeling the burn, you simply are not working hard enough!
Push yourself Ladies, FEEL THE BURN, LOVE THE BURN!!

Love the Burn will launch it’s fitness website very soon featuring Workout Routines, Exercises, Diet Tips, Gear, Supplements & Much More!

Make the change today!

LOVE LOVE your enthusiasm Caroline!! Put on your favorite song, use that energy & spirit, and start jump roping!! Let's burn some calories!! You know jump roping was so much easier when I was younger!! When I first started up again, I was tripping all over the rope, smacking myself with it! I could hardly make it through my favorite song!! It is however, still fun and a great way to burn calories, use your leg muscles, build endurance, even stregthen your balance! Most like it better than running! Keep up the motivation & energy Caroline!!

Thank you Angie! You know great question! I just saw her Saturday and showed her my blog. She said I gave her too much credit because she's only does a half an hour now! At 81 years old I'm still in shock! That's amazing!! She's amazing! She just got back from London where she walked circles around almost everyone and had no trouble with their steep stairs up and down to the subway! She's my inspiration! I hope I have that energy!!

Esther great question! BABY STEPS! I train by my baby step method. It's not motivating to jump into a program do more than what your body can handle and not be able to move for days. Start off slow. I know clients want to lose weight and get healthier in a short amount of time but this is a lifestyle change. It's hard to change so much in your life at one time. Try jump roping for 3 minutes or dance to your favorite song. Do 40-60 crunches and a few girl style push-ups. Begin to increase your program little by little. Also, make a nutritional change. Give up one bad habit like candy, chips, or soda. You'll notice a change in just a week or two! Also, make sure your intaking enough calories each day. Eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks! VERY IMPORTANT! Constantly feeding your metabolism will speed it up. You need to intake as much calories as you burn in a day. It takes about 1200 calories or more to fuel your body without you walking one step in a day! Your body need fuel to function and lose weight. Utilize free foods, which are all your veggies. Eat them at night or for snacks throughout your day when you've already hit your calories for the day. Hope this was helpful!

I started off by taking classes in college. Fitness and wellness courses as well as nutrition courses. I had a great professor! He made learning fun! Reminded me of running track in high school. I loved the conditioning and running hurdles became a love of mine! I also became a trainer at CURVES Fitness for women! It is an amazing program for women! I recommend it to women of all ages! Becoming a personal trainer was the best choice! I've always wanted to help people just never knew how until I started training! Thank you for your question Angela! I hope you enjoy our future blogs!
