Fit Icon: Marisa Miller Workout
This year FHM (popular men’s lifestyle magazine) name Marisa Miller as the Sexiest Woman of 2010. She’s been a Victoria’s Secret Angel and the SI Swimsuit Edition cover girl, so it makes sense that Marisa Miller is this week’s celebrity body for Fit Icon.
Marisa Miller’s body is widely considered as one of the sexiest in the world cause really, she’s the totally package. There are many people out there who would love to have her body and below are a few ways you can get that toned tight body like Marisa Miller.

Abs Exercise:
Marisa Miller has a phenomenal stomach. For best results your abdominal muscles best respond to exercises that concentrate on each part of your abs, so for upper abs do the workout below.
Upper Ab Workout:
Lie on your back on the floor or on an exercise mat with your hands to the side of your head or crossed on your chest. Keep your knees bent at a 90 degree angle with your feet resting on the floor. Lift your shoulder blades of the ground as if you are trying to touch your knees with your chest but do not move the legs. Concentrate on lifting using your stomach muscles only. At the top of the movement contract your ab muscles intensely and then slowly lower your body down. Lightly touch the floor with your shoulder blades and repeat.
Repeat 15-30 times. Breathe out on the way up, in on the way down. Rest a few minutes and do another set of 15-30 repetitions. Try to do 3-4 sets.

Walking Lunges:
Keep your hips squared and your core tight, because this exercise is really about balance. Look straight out. As you take the forward step, that foot needs to be out in front enough so that your knee never goes past your toe. Also, the back knee should never touch the floor. Go as far as you can go, but keep the back knee pointed down to the floor. You can clasp hands together and put that in front of you to keep you balanced.
Lift up between each lunge, which will prevent swinging and will keep your form in check. Bonus tip: “With my clients, I like to play “Fergalicious” when they are performing walking lunges, because the tempo and beat of this song is perfect for that.”
