Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas is a true Fit Icon. In her 20′s, she was overweight and now she’s a weight loss success story who has a sexy figure. Who wouldn’t want to be Fergie-licious?

Stacy Ann Ferguson (aka Fergie) has one of the hottest bodies in the music industry. But did you know that she used to be overweight in her 20′s? In her 30′s, she’s rocking her concerts and music videos with her amazing body.

Legs

Fergie was recently crowned by Us Magazine as the celebrity with the “Best Legs”. So how do you get those sexy legs? One of the best ways is to do walking lunges.

Walking Lunges

Stand with your legs a hip-width apart. With your right leg, step forward but make sure not to overextend yourself. Bend your knee and push downwards into the stride while trying to balance your body. With your left leg, bring it forward so that you can stand. Repeat the same step forward except with your left leg. Try to do 10 yards of walking lunges in each direction, before going up to 15 yards worth.

Abs

What makes Fergie a true Fit Icon is that she’s got a great body that all girls can look up to – she’s both tone and curvy at the same time. Fergie also has a small frame yet she has some slammin’ abs.

Captain’s Chair

The second most effective work out for the abs and the obliques is to do to the ‘captain’s chair leg raise’. You will need a captain’s chair, which can be found at any good gym or health club.

Stand on the chair, and hold onto the handgrips to stabilize your body and press your back against the chair. Slowly raise your legs and lift your knees towards your chest, making sure that you are not using momentum or swinging your legs up. Also, make sure not to arch your back otherwise you will hurt it. Try to keep your knees bent and focus on your abs ratehr than your hips. Slowly lower your legs back down and repeat the captain’s chair between 1-3 sets of 12-16 reps.

The walking lunges sound tough… but as they say, no pain, no gain! I'm going to try that… I hope I make it 10 yards. I'll probably fail :p

Maureen, If you think you can YOU CAN! If you think you can't, you're right! Think positive and give it a try! You do not have to do a ton of repetitions. Start slow and work your way up =) xOx
