Fit Icon: Cameron Diaz Workout
In the recently released movie, Knight and Day, Cameron Diaz kicks some serious ass and shows us why she is a true Fit Icon.
Cameron Diaz is famous for being an athletic, all-American girl who loves surfing. There are many people out there who would love to have her body but have no idea how to surf, can’t balance yourself on a board to save your life, don’t live near a beach, or perhaps are just scared of sharks from watching Jaws too many times. If you’re one of those people, don’t fret as here are some easy ways to get a body like hers.

Legs
Apart from Cameron Diaz’s smile, her legs are her signature trademark as they are lean and seem to go on forever. According to her Trainer, she does a mix of Pilates, weight training, and compound exercises to keep them long and lean.
Frog In Leg Straps
Although the name of the exercise sounds a bit weird, this exercise is a Pilates move done with a reformer machine with 1-2 springs.
Place your feet in the straps on the reformer machine, and draw your heels together in a way that your knees come out wide sort of like a frog (or if you are doing the leg movements for breaststroke).
As you push your heels straight out, exhale and keep your feet together in a small ‘v’ form when you extend your legs. When you do this, you will feel as if you are trying to zip up a tight pair of pants as you will feel your inner thighs muscles draw together. Bend to come in again and repeat this exercise 10 times.

Arms and Abs
As Cameron Diaz ages, her arms and stomach just look better and better. The below exercise also uses the reformer machine with 1-2 springs and works from your back through to your arms and your abs.
Hundreds
As you lay on your back on the reformer machine with your legs bent upwards at a 90 degree angle, pull the straps with your hands by your side just above the abs and curl your head and shoulders up. Pulse your arms up and down at the shoulder, and breathe in and out 5 counts each to make 10 repetitions or 100 breaths.
For a challenge, extend your legs outwards at a 45 degree angle. LOVE THE BURN!
