Skinny Truth Diet Tips: Eating Negative Calories
Negative calories or free foods as I like to call them, are calorie-burning foods. These are foods that burn more calories in the process of digestion than the amount of calories you consume.
Use the list below to guide you in healthy snack options. Enjoy any of the following fruits or veggies when you’ve already hit your calorie limit, just ate dinner but your still hungry, or for a yummy and healthy late night snack! Just remember to try and eat fruit in the morning so you can burn off those sugar calories during the day.

Vegetables: Artichoke, Asparagus, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Celery, Cilantro, Cucumber, Eggplant, Endive, Green Beans, Mushrooms, Onions, Peas, Peppers, Radishes, Romaine lettuce, Spinach, Summer Squash, Tomato, Zucchini
Fruits: Apple, Blueberry, Cantaloupe, Cranberry, Grape Fruit, Honey Dew Melon, Lemon, Lime, Orange, Papaya, Pineapple, Strawberry, Watermelon
Bonus Tip: Add hot or sweet peppers to your diet! Peppers contain substances that actually increase your body’s heat production and oxygen consumption up to 30 minutes after eating! All that heat you feel after eating hot chili peppers takes energy and calories to produce. So add some peppers to your eggs or pasta dish and burn a few extra calories!
